Why I Haven't Written Blogs About Home Renovations

There are many reasons I have held out on writing blogs about Home Renovations. One of those reasons is that I have not wanted to start going this direction until I felt ready. It was not until a few days ago when I was chatting with a friend from High School that I realized that the time has come!

For many a month, I have had a vision of Schmooz being a multi-faceted blogging platform with tools for real people driven by passion. What I want to celebrate is success. So far, we have mainly focused on small business entrepreneurs (including myself) and our successes.  What has become increasingly clear to me is that success worth celebrating comes in many forms.

It is with this, that I am proud to introduce Schmooz Life, which will start as an addition to my blog and hopefully grow into something much more epic.

What will Schmooz Life be about? Life beyond the business. How we make it work, where we stumble and how we get back up again. For those of you who don't know me personally, my husband and I have built furniture together, have been renovating a house for the last year (and are obsessed with real estate) and to punish ourselves for not being busy enough already in our first year of marriage and my first year of business ownership, we recently added a puppy to our lives.  Here are some topics to look forward to:

- Furniture Design and Build Projects

- Kitchen Reno Before and After!

- Top 5 Mistakes We Made Training Our Puppy

- Buying the Ugliest House on the Block and Giving it a Facelift

Schmoozing with you is always a pleasure and I can't wait to see where this next chapter takes us.
