"Do one thing every day that scares you."

-Eleanor Roosevelt

I have spent a lot of time thinking about this quote and believe it will inspire other small- mid size business owners to take action in regards to their social media planning and to reach for innovative ways of connecting genuinely to customers or clients. Planning and implementing a social media plan can be really scary. Measuring often intangible success, leaning away from a known more direct marketing strategy, having to keep up with the changing technology. But it is these intangibles, unknowns and changes that can keep a company on a cutting edge, and can keep a company fresh and helpful to customers. How you, as a business owner and as an individual, face being scared of the unknowns is what makes all the difference. Being honest with yourself about your fears, setting goals with your team and the people you consult with and partnering action with check in points are key to facing the fear.

Thanks for engaging with the Schmooz Blog, and for challenging yourself to be scared as you plunge into the unknown. Today, I am going to do one thing that scares me; I know it will help Schmooz do a better job for our current clients and future clients.
